As a rule of thumb, a Cappuccino is made of a third Espresso, third hot milk and a third froth. It’s a rich and satisfying drink in which the intensity of the Espresso is mellowed with velvety milk.

Macchiato refers to ‘staining’ the coffee with a dash of stiff frothed milk placed on the rich, dark crema of the Espresso creating an intensely smooth experience.
