PRODUCT INFORMATION

The 24 Nespresso Grand Cru capsules contain only pure coffee, sourced from the finest 1-2% of the world’s coffee production. That’s why no additives of any kind are used or needed. The quality and consistency of our coffee in the cup and its exquisite crema are the result of the highest quality coffee, the way we manage the quality during the whole production process and the unique Nespresso system – the interaction of the original Nespresso aluminum capsule and the genuine Nespresso machine.

A pure origin or single origin coffee is made of coffees coming from the same country of origin. At Nespresso, each “pure origin” is exclusively and genuinely composed (100%) of coffees coming from a single country of origin and even limited regions that offer unique profiles. We perform rigorous sampling and testing to ensure that we have only 100% pure origins.

We are pleased to know that you have been seduced by our Limited Editions. These exclusive flavors are, however, now sold-out. Again and again, we come across unique coffee flavors in our search for perfection and unique taste experiences. We can only offer these creations for a limited period as the raw materials are only available in small quantities. We thank you for your kind understanding.

You can already be looking forward to furthering Limited Editions. These will be launched respectively in spring and autumn. We will create Variations this year as well – you will be well surprised.

The amount of caffeine in a capsule depends on the varieties of green coffee used in the recipe. The Robusta origin contains an average of 2.4% whereas the Arabica origins contain approx. 1.3% of caffeine. Decaf capsules contain less than 0.1% of caffeine. The classic Nespresso capsules contain approx 5g of ground coffee whereas the Lungo capsules contain approx 6g of ground coffee.

Example: a pure Arabica coffee in a classic Nespresso capsule (5g) containing 5g x 1.3% = 0.065g= 65 milligrams (mg) of caffeine.

Below are examples or average caffeine contents according to the type of coffee preparation (values are based on UK Food Safety Authorities 2001):

  • Cup of filter coffee: 75mg
  • Mug of instant coffee: 100 mg
  • Tea cup: 50mg
  • Standard cola drink: up to 40mg
  • Standard energetic drink: 80 mg

Our capsules are hermetically sealed for optimal conservation of coffee aromas. Two dates are indicated on each sleeve: the production date and the date of consumption. We ensure the freshness consumption up to 12 months after the date of production.

There are 24 permanent varieties of Nespresso Grands Crus, classified into six categories:

  • 5 Intenso Espresso Grands Crus for a short cup (25 or 40ml): 4,50€ for one sleeve of 10 capsules and 5,00 € only for the Grands Crus Kazaar and Dharkan.
  • 4 Espresso Grands Crus (cup size: 40ml): 4,50€ for one sleeve of 10 capsules
  • 4 Lungo Grands Crus for a long cup (110 ml) : 5,00 € for one sleeve of 10 capsules 
  • 4 Pure Origin Grands Crus (3 Espresso Grands Crus & 1 Lungo): 5,00 € for one sleeve of 10 capsules. 
  • 4 Decaffeinato Grands Crus: (3 Espresso Grands Crus & 1 Lungo) 5,00€ for one sleeve of 10 capsules
  • 3 Variations flavored Grands Crus (cup size: 40ml): 5,20 € for a sleeve of 10 capsules.

ORDERS & ORDER FOLLOW UP

If you are not satisfied with the quality of the products you have received, please contact the Nespresso Club via our toll free number or via our online contact form. So that we can take the necessary steps as soon as possible, please keep the bill and the packaging as the production code printed on the box helps us find the product's batch.

To help us give you the best possible service, please supply us with as much information as possible regarding damaged or unwanted products.

To meet our delivery deadlines, online orders are processed automatically by our system and immediately transferred to our Logistics Centre. If you wish to cancel or modify your order, we kindly invite you to contact Nespresso Club at 8000 22 33 as soon as possible by phone.

However, as soon as your order is confirmed, Nespresso cannot guarantee any changes or cancellations required.

There are two methods of payment:

  • By cash: For orders made by phone, in one of our Boutiques or by internet
  • Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard) : For orders made by phone, in one of our Boutiques or by internet.

Nespresso unfortunately does not deliver orders abroad from Cyprus. You should contact the Nespresso Club of the country where you wish to be delivered.

ONLINE SUPPORT

Please contact our Club by phone on our freephone number 8000 22 33 or by E-mail if you wish to close your Nespresso account. Our Coffee Specialists will update your account and advise you what you need to do to create your new account.

To change your E-mail address, all you need to do is:

  1. Enter your login details (E-mail address and password) under "Sign in to your account" at the top right-hand corner of the homepage.
  2. Click on "Personal Information" and then "Change Email".

Click on “Please Sign in to Your Account” at the top right of our website and then click “Create an account” and enter your personal information.

Enter the delivery and billing addresses desired for your order and select whether you wish to be informed about our new products and offers. Click on “Create an account”.

Your account is created and you can place your order immediately.

Our Grands Crus are packaged in sleeves, each containing 10 capsules. For packaging reasons all orders placed online, or with the Nespresso Club, order should be composed of a minimum 50 capsules. You can mix the variety of capsules as you choose, as long as the total number is 50 or more (e.g. 20 Roma, 10 Arpeggio, 10 Livanto, 10 Caramelito).

To change it, all you need to do is:

  1. Click on "Please sign in to your account" on the home page in the top right-hand corner of the screen and then "Forgot your password?"
  2. Enter the E-mail address which you normally use to place your order
  3. You will receive a message at the E-mail address you have given that will ask you to click on a link to set a new password.

Our Grands Crus are exclusively available to order via the Nespresso Club in the following ways:

  • By calling at 80002233 (freephone when calling from a landline)
  • Through the website: www.nespresso.com.cy
  • From Nespresso Boutiques

MACHINE SUPPORT

To order a spare part for your machine, please contact our Club by phone at our toll-free number 8000 22 33. One of our Coffee Specialists will check with you in order to send you the correct part via courier in the best delay.

In case you need immediate assistance with your machine, please contact our technical assistance service on our free phone number 8000 22 33. Our Assistance Service Team is available every day. We provide troubleshooting for all Nespresso machines, using our in-depth knowledge of the technology to diagnose the problem and assist you in finding the best solution. If a repair is required, we can do the following:

  • Provide a loan machine for the duration of the repair.
  • Fully repair of your machine and a check all its components.

This service is free of charge during the two-year warranty period. Outside the warranty period, our Coffee Specialists will be pleased to inform you about our current flat fees.

Firstly, please place the stirrer inside and fill with fresh water until the first indication of max. Then, switch to warm mode. After the procedure, clean with a soft damp cloth after each use to remove all traces of milk, and prevent it from burning.

To order via Internet, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Login on our website www.nespresso.com.cy and enter your credentials
  2. Click on the tab *Accessories*
  3. You will see all descaling kits appear in the listing.

One kit contains two doses of descaling product, illustrated manual and the necessary tools.

RECYCLING

You can recycle your capsules by visiting your nearest Nespresso Boutique to drop capsules off in one of our dedicated collection points at:

  • Nespresso Stasikratous Boutique: 18, Stasicratous Street, Nicosia, 1065
  • Nespresso Olympic Boutique: 353 Olympic Residence, 28th October Street, Limassol, 3107

The capsules collected, are transferred to ANIMALIA GENETICS LTD (Aluminium Recycling Center) where a specially designed recycling machine, separates the coffee from the aluminium. Subsequently, the aluminium is then recycled using eco-friendly technology for the production of other products.

Nespresso uses aluminium for its capsules, as it is the best material that we have found to protect the 900 aromas contained in a Nespresso capsule as well as preserve the quality and freshness. Also, aluminium can be infinitely recycling without loosing its abilities.

OTHER

Nespresso offers specific services to consumers who wish to enter what is called the Nespresso Club. A customer who has chosen to join the Nespresso Club is called a Club Member. The Nespresso Club services include: delivery of capsules and coffee accessories to your address of choice within two business days; maintenance service with free machine pick-up and free machine loan; guidance on the finest points of coffee tasting; “Limited Edition” Grand Crus; an exclusive selection of coffee accessories.
